TOUCHBIZ Design Ops Website
TOUCHBIZ Design Ops Website

The TOUCHBIZ Design Ops website is a space dedicated to the design team behind TOUCHBIZ by SMBC Indonesia. It features stories and snapshots of both current team members and alumni who’ve moved on to other companies. More than just a team directory, it’s a way to keep us connected as a community.

How It Started

How It Started

This project began from a small idea. I wanted to create something that helps keep everyone in our design team connected. The design industry has seen many changes recently, with shifting teams, layoffs, and uncertainties during the so-called tech winter. That made me realize how important it is to have a space where we can stay in touch, reach out to one another, or simply look back at the time we spent together.

Whether you're still with us or already at a different company, this site is here to help us maintain those relationships.

Why Framer

Why Framer

I worked on this project by myself, so I needed a tool that was simple but powerful. I chose Framer because its interface felt familiar, almost like Figma. It also allowed me to build the site quickly without needing to code too much. For a solo project, it was the perfect fit.

Thinking Through the Structure

Thinking Through the Structure

Before jumping into design, I asked myself what kind of information would be meaningful to include. I ended up building the site around five key parts:
1. A hero section that introduces the team
2. Highlights that show who we are at a glance
3. An About Us section to share our story
4. A members section with bios, squads, roles, and social links
5. A gallery to capture memories from our time together

In the hero section, I wanted to show how our team works across different locations. A map helped bring that idea to life, showing where each of us has worked from — whether it’s Jakarta, Seoul, Bandung, or even beyond.

Here, I shared three quick facts. When the team was formed, how we work in a hybrid setup, and the number of members we’ve had. It’s a snapshot of our growth and how we've adapted.

This section introduces who we are and what we do. It helps set the tone before people explore the rest of the site and learn more about our journey as a design team.

Meet the Team

Meet the Team

This part is the heart of the site. It features every member — those who are still with us and those who’ve moved on. I wanted to make sure everyone is remembered and recognized.

Each card includes a short bio, their design squad, current or past roles, and social or portfolio links. It’s more than just a directory. It’s a way to stay connected and support one another professionally.

Capturing the Moments

Capturing the Moments

Since most of our collaboration happens remotely, every offline moment becomes extra special. I wanted to highlight those memories using a visual concept inspired by a wall magazine. It’s colorful, a little nostalgic, and packed with energy — just like our meetups.

People come and go. That’s part of any team. But I believe the bonds we build don’t have to end when someone leaves. This microsite is a small way to keep our connections alive, remind us of how far we’ve come, and support each other wherever we are now.
